All of the emails you receive will be from youchoose on behalf of companies that you requested as well as youchoose program announcements.  At any time youchoose, you may opt out of our program.  Remember, nothing more than your youchoose customer number is ever revealed to the companies that are communicating with you (unless you want them to have it and you provide it),  Our objective is to provide you with relevant marketing information that is requested by you.  We want you to have an interactive dialogue with these companies where youchoose serves as the CONDUIT and keeps your identity private, ensuring that you remain comfortably in control of the relationship.

So why do we need the information we request during enrollment?

We decided when we started this company that we wanted to require as little information as possible from our members during enrollment, making enrollment fast, easy & comfortable.  That is our COMMITTMENT to you.  To participate in youchoose, you must register and provide valid enrollment contact information (your first & last name, mailing address and email address).  We use your email address to communicate with you.  We use your mailing address to send any gift cards that you have earned and selected.  We even screen the marketing messages that we send to you to ensure that you are not being asked for your name, email address, physical address or phone number from the companies that are interacting with you.

youchoose, however, reserves the limited right to share this basic information you provide with our sponsors, partners and third parties.  The information we are talking about is only data that you have provided in the program through enrollment or surveys, but never your name, email address or physical address.  While we enter into agreements with businesses that for the most part are in your geographic area, youchoose communities will not be responsible for marketers’ and advertisers’ actions, including, without limitation, their use of information you supply.  This is why we highly recommend that you never give our companies marketing to you any information that will allow them to communicate directly to you and not through youchoose. 

The use of cookies:

A cookie, as you may or may not know, is simply a small text file containing information about the user that is placed by a website on the user’s hard drive.  youchoose communities places a cookie on your computer when you complete the registration form or log into your youchoose website.  The cookie is required to log in and view Member-specific information on the website and is used solely for that purpose.  From time to time we may allow a third-party media service to display content on our site.  These third-party media services may use cookies within their content, but we have no access to or control over these cookies or the goods and services they market.

The youchoose site may contain links to other Internet sites that are not operated or controlled by youchoose communities.  We cannot control and are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or goods and services available should you access such websites.

What if I move?  What if my email changes?  What if my name changes?

Simply go to www.youchoosesavannah.com. and click on MyAccount.  Here you may update your contact information and choose to add or eliminate companies that you wish to receive communication from.  When you are finished entering your updated information, click the appropriate button on the page to save your changes.  Your changes will be recorded immediately but some in-process based promotions may still be based on your old information.  If there is incorrect information on your account statement, please contact us at support@youchoosecommunities.com.

Online security.

youchoose implements security measures (including online and off-line physical, electronic and managerial safeguards) designed to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.  As with any transmission over the internet, however, there is always some element of risk involved in sending personal information online.  Your email address, password and cookie will be required to update your personal information (name, email & physical address, etc.) as well as companies with youchoose to communicate.  Remember to keep your password private and secure – you should not share this information with anyone.  If you have any questions about the security at our website, you can send an email to support@youchoosecommunities.com.

You are only able to participate in youchoose if you are at least 18 years old.  youchoose communities takes children’s privacy seriously and we do not seek to collect individually identifiable information about children under 18 years of age.  youchoose communities maintains compliance with the rules defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. (COPPA).

Opt-Out Policy.

If you want out, you may request that your membership be cancelled and account closed by canceling your membership online.  youchoose may continue to use information collected prior to cancellation.  Such cancellation may not terminate any third-party program you have elected to participate in while a youchoose member.

Except as provided herein, we promise that we will never willfully sell, trade, rent or make available your identify, address, phone number or home address to any unaffiliated third party without your consent, unless to comply with the law or any legal process; to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities or suspected fraud; to establish, protect and/or defend our rights and property; or to protect against violations, misuse or unauthorized use of the youchoose program. Notwithstanding anything herein, youchoose communities may share and disclose individually identifiable information as part of a sale of its business whether through a sale of assets, stock or other change of control transaction.
